The puncture size is limited since LiQuiTube has to not only seal the tire but the thin inner tube as well. Puncturing objects can cut and tear inner tubes making them more difficult to seal. It is more difficult for LiQuiTube to be used after a tire with an inner tube as already gone flat since the holes may not line up in the tire and inner tube.

A: The most common causes for LiQuiTube not being able to seal are under application, product dilution with water or other products, tire integrity issues, or inner liner rubber flaps. Please check our application calculator to ensure the correct amount of LiQuiTube was used. Air compressors can add water to a tire if they do not have a dryer unit. If multiple tire cords are damaged, then the integrity of a tire is compromised and the tire should no longer be used. If no sealant is seen coming out of a puncture hole then the hole may need to be reamed to remove any flaps or debris from the hole so LiQuiTube can come through the hole to make a permanent repair.
